2012 CCHVA Seminars

Mark your calendars! Your Board is busy planning our 2012 series of seminars to be held monthly on the 4th Wednesday of the month beginning February 22nd, 6:30-8:30 pm, at the Nipomo Chamber of Commerce. Subsequent seminars are scheduled on March 28th, April 25th, and May 23rd. Of course, there is wine tasting too! One or more seminars will focus on wine evaluation and judging to prepare for our annual Santa Barbara County Fair Homemade Wine Judging in June.

2012 Santa Barbara County Fair Homemade Wine Judging

Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 2nd! At least 20 judges and 15 support team members are needed to help with the 2012 Santa Barbara County Fair Homemade Wine Competition. We hope those who have participated in the past, as well as those who have expressed an interest in future judging, will volunteer for this fun and educational event. Judging will be held at the Santa Maria Fairpark in the late morning. After the judging, a catered lunch will be served accompanied by further tasting of the wines that were judged. Several volunteers are also needed to help with setup and cleanup. Please support CCHVA to help make this event a big success!
